Has anybody got the external Apple USB modem to work when you use boot camp to run Windows XP?

Apple USB Modem - Solving the conflict

Connect the USB Modem First
Select "System Preferences"
Clik - Network
Select "Automatic" for Location:
Select "Network Port Configurations" for Show:
Select the three ports only: Airport, Built-in Ethernet, Built-in Firewire
Clik "Apply now"
Select 'Automatic' for Location:
Select "External Modem" for Show:
And Select TCP/IP then in the "Configure IPv4 drop menu select "AOL Dialup"
Clik "Apply Now"
Close "System Preferences now.

Clik on your AOL Icon. It will initiate. When the Welcome screen comes up then select "Setup". Clik on "Add A Location" In the name box type "Dialup" then proceed to select "Apple External 56K Modem (v.92) in the drop down menu for "Connect using". In the Port drop down menu select "USB modem". Then clik "next". Select "add numbers from a list" then clik next. Enter your area code and clik next .Select at least two numbers that are local to your calling area. Clik "OK" to add each one. Then clik "Done".
If you switch regularly between Dialup and TCP then you should create a second location and name it TCP so that you are able to connect using the AOL browser. Again , clik setup on the welcome screen, and then clik "Add a Location" then in the name box type TCP and select "Apple Internal 56K Modem (v.90) and for the port select USB Modem. then clik next. Then select Add a TCP/IP and clik next. It will complete the process. You can now choose to connect via a phone line or a TCP connection when you start up AOL. I am also running Windows XP with Parallels and BootCamp. The modem operations are not affected by it. It connects fine and there is no conflict. Hope this helps yall out there. Enjoy the surf!
