I know this isn't exactly breaking news but it's just so bloody handy having access to my Apple Wallet from my Apple Watch. I'm surprised how frequently I'm using it lately. Much like Apple Pay it's something that I didn't care about when I bought my first Apple Watch and I now love. My phone stays in my pocket a lot more.

Recent usage:
  • Took a flight. My flight info and boarding pass is easily available.
  • Priority Pass QR code for entry into an airport lounge.
  • Bought a Slurpee at 7-11 and can get my code from the 7-11 app scanned for an eventual free drink.
  • Needed to get a relatives car towed and my AAA membership info was available when the driver showed up.
  • Ticketmaster - The security guard was completely amazed when I got entry to a concert using my watch.

Plus the angle is super awkward for some of the scanner types.

It is, and for that reason I usually use my phone in that situation. But I'm surprised that AppleHaterLover feels like a tool when using the watch that way. Apple Watches are pretty common, so it's not like you're showing off. Just do whatever you find convenient!
