I am coming from a Samsung Note 20 Ultra and have been trying to get used to the differences between my old phone and my new pro max. Adding loyalty cards to Samsung pay was really easy. You could choose from a list of supported cards. If the card I wanted to add wasn’t in the list, I could add it. It created an entry with a barcode that I could scan. I have spent hours now trying to work out a way to do this in Apple Wallet and I have not been able to do it. The closest I came was with an app named Pass2U. It didn’t work out for me.

Does anyone know of a way to do this? I try not to carry a wallet whenever possible. I only have a few cards.

I was looking for the same thing and I've managed to add the cards (QR/barcode) I had using the "Pass2U Wallet" app. However, you've already mentioned that app didn't work for your use case. I'm also looking to see if there are any other alternatives.

As a side note, I was also able to add the loyalty cards to my Apple Watch Wallet (for some reason it did not auto-sync with the iPhone Wallet) by sharing the Pass2U created pass though an iMessage to myself and opening it on my watch (however that requires buying the Pro version of Pass2U to be able to share).

I don't have the actual cards in my possession any longer. Or at least I don't know where I put them. I was hoping to be able to add them just with my member number. That's how it worked on Samsung Pay. It created a barcode that could be scanned by the scanners in the grocery stores.

And that barcode it's the same every use? Could you use Pass2U on iPhone to scan the barcode showed by the Samsung phone on it's screen?

I tried and it wouldn't scan it. I wonder if it is my phone that's the issue. It's a normal looking barcode. I'm not sure why it wouldn't scan it.
