Has anybody had an Apple watch 10 long enough to comment on battery life compared to previous generations? My Apple watch 7 most days just barely got me thru the day (I charge during evening and wear overnight) and now the battery has deteriorated to the point where I'm getting low power warnings more often then not before the day is up. Considering whether to get a 10 or have the 7 battery replaced. Thank you.

Same as my Series 7 when it was new.

There is not much mystery at this point… Same autonomy as always but more functions running.

I am using about 25-30% of my battery before in put it on the charger for the night. This is comparable to my previous Apple Watches. Thus includes tracking a 1 hour outdoor walk with GPS.

Do you like your series 10 compared to series 7? One of the upgrades I would appreciate is the always on second hand as I use it at work. But still feel jaded that Apple never settled the blood oxygen sensor issue. Also disappointed that Apple never improves on the battery life.

I see, thank you. I somehow missed it in the search. Reading thru the thread very mixed results but generally speaking, not an increased battery life. Not that Apple claimed such but one would hope with a bigger watch, maybe a little bigger battery. Even 20% would be appreciated, just a better shot of having workouts during the day and making it to the evening.

I’m coming from a S4 Nike AW and the S10 is a beast for me regarding the battery life.

The quick charge functionality is also a huge win in my opinion.

I really like Series 10 and the battery doesn’t bother me.

If at any time I see that I am running low on battery… 5-10 minutes on the charger and it goes up to 14-28%.

With 15 minutes of charging, I would have enough to go to work and return home when I finished.

I also have a second charger (the one from my old Series 7) in the backpack I take to work just in case.

I really agree with Apple's approach to the battery until new technology comes along: all the efficiency that is achieved can be used for more and better processes and functions.

Whoever wants more battery has the Ultra. And whoever wants a much more limited smartwatch should buy a Samsung, a Garmin or a chinese one.

I'm coming from a two year old Series 7 with 93% battery health. Most days I finished the day with around 10% with Series 7. Now with Series 10 I only charge until 85% and have around 40% when I go to bed.

So, I actually bought a new series 8 SS w/ cellular just 2-3 weeks before the series 10 was released. I used the S8 for those 2 weeks, it was a great deal from walmart, and this new watch had 100% battery health when checked in settings. I decided to instead get the series 10 given the bigger screen (I was coming from 2 years use of the ultra which had just been too bulky and in-elegant for me). And now having the series 10 vs the series 8 just a couple weeks ago, I noticed a noticeable battery difference. Whereas I was ending my 7:30A - 11P days usually with 20% or so battery life on that new S8, I now see around 30-40% battery left on the S10 by that same 11P sleep time. Same usage, with cellular and AOD enabled, and occasional Gym sessions 3 days or so out of the week. So yes, while not "multiday" battery life like the ultra, my new S10 for me seems to be much better battery wise for comfortable 1-day use compared to a new series 8.

That experience alone, made the S10 worth it and I returned the S8 within the 30d return window. Hope this helps.
