Anyone else have an issue where achievement badges were lost after un-pairing and re-pairing their watch to their iPhone? All of the health data are intact and transferred over, but most (not all) earned badges are gone, including the special Thanksgiving 5K badge (though the Turkey Trot achievement is recognized in the Nike Run Club app). Even the first workout achievement badge is missing and I haven't earned it back with recent workouts. However, my streak is still intact and I get that achievement badge updated every day. So strange. Any thoughts on a fix? I'm running the latest versions of watchOS and iOS. Have been plugged in and connected to wifi over the course of the last 72 hours. The only thing I haven't tried is un-pairing and re-pairing again.

FYI - Spoke with Apple Support and they didn’t have a fix. We tried some powering on and off and they suggested to try unpairing and restoring my phone from backup before pairing again, but it’s not worth the effort. I’ll wait a bit before going that route.

Yeh I here you. So painful restoring phone from back up etc and having to re-configure all your apps etc. Try to avoid this as much as possible. Only do it when obviously buy a new iPhone.
[doublepost=1512707264][/doublepost]I'll just wait for a fix, patch update etc.

Could you confirm if you got them all back? I upgraded to iOS 12 and I noticed that at least two of my badges (I did not know how many in total) were missing. I chickened out and downgraded to iOS 11 within a couple hours.

Last week, my iPhone 6 Plus needed to be replaced due to the multi-touch issue. After reloading from an iCloud backup, it wasn't showing an entire week of activity. After trying everything, including returning to the Apple Store and speaking to a few geniuses, I gave up hope and thought I'd lost my streak of 240+ days, my August achievement, etc.

A couple of days later, everything re-appeared. My stand goal for the day I reloaded from the cloud wasn't met (first time this year) but other than that, I was able to get everything back.

Side note: I'm not sure if it had anything to do with everything coming back, but I clicked on each individual achievement that showed as new. (With the dot underneath each achievement.) While doing this, and going back to the screen showing all of the achievements, some starting popping up that weren't there previously and then suddenly my missing week was back, as were my workouts. Frankly, I'm surprised I didn't start bawling. haha

I hope everyone gets all of their stuff back. I always make sure to backup to the cloud after I close my rings, or after scoring a special achievement...

Lastly... I never do betas for the watch or phone. Just not worth it to me on the off chance that I lose everything that a backup can't resolve.

Make sure you're using the most up-to-date OS. I had a similar issue, and it turned out my "old iPhone" had a newer OS than it's replacement. Everything was sorted once everything was current.

Everything on my watch and phone pre-replacement (and post) had the latest iOS and watchOS. I just had to wait a couple of days. (Just adding this comment so others don't panic if they do the same as I did.)

After updating to iOS 12 on Tuesday, all but one of my 5 Limited Edition challenge badges went away. I forget which one was still there), but I thought I took a screen shot so I didn't pay attention to which one initially stayed through the update.

Now, 2 days later I have 4 of the 5 back, only missing the Veterans Day Challenge.

I read somewhere that apple is aware of this problem and will fix it with an update so u will get them back.

New phone and watch arrived today, unpaired watch from my old phone and set it up on the one... excited as always... backed it up from the software that I needed it...

But after 600+ days of constant closing the rings and streak, health and fitness is basically my life and these little achievements felt like a reward... I had from Feb 2017 to yesterday, all the achievements...

ALL GONE. Thanks a lot Apple. Absolute Joke!!

Are the achievements still on your old phone/watch? Perhaps you hadn't seen up your new phone in such a way that pulled in those achievements.

I had to give my old phone in, im on the upgrade scheme.

Apple are aware, hmmm...
[doublepost=1537531297][/doublepost]The article on the Apple Support page only states the special ones, I’ve got all the monthly ones missing too

Yesterday I paired my Apple Watch with my new Iphone XS.

I have lost some of my awards but I know this is a known issue. Today after restarting both devices all awards achievement are back.

The real problem is that last evening I closed my movement ring like every day and as yesterday was Sunday I was awarded of the medal of "perfect week" with the date of 23 September.

But this morning, 24 September the week summary informed me that yesterday I did not close the circle, 469/500 (yesterday was more than 500) and my movement streak was interrupted but I still have the medal gained yesterday!!!

I switched to my Xs Max on Friday the 21st, and my Series 3 Apple Watch seamlessly moved over while missing several limited edition badges, and all came back except the Veteran's day badge.

However, on 9/23/18, on the 3rd day after the phone switch, my Apple Watch locked up at 6PM and I didn't notice so I didn't close my move ring, breaking a move streak going all the way back to May 1st 2018. I could not get it to power up, and the battery was totally dead.

I charged my watch, but it was only connecting to my iCloud account via wifi and LTE, and would not connect to my Xs Max, no matter what I did. I had to unpair the watch, and repair it with an update to Watch OS 5 the next day.

My Veteran's day badge is still gone, but the watch has been working fine now and that doesn't bug me anymore. HOWEVER, I'm quite mad that I broke my move streak due to the watch crashing. I would have hit a 5 month straight move streak at the end of this month if that hadn't happened.

I wanted to follow-up on this thread (and a couple others) with more recent experience. I just upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro Max from iPhone 7 Plus. I used the phone to phone data transfer. At first, none of my activity awards showed up, but my activity data was all still there. 2 days later, all of my awards showed up again. At one point I did restart both my watch and phone, although this did not show any instant result, perhaps this helped. I hope this helps people be less stressed.
