It's not as elegant but it's also only $10

Yeah, it does look decent, for the price.

The one thing I like about the apple dock, is that it has a the charging disc (or what ever you call it), all other docks require the charging unit to be inserted into it. i think if you need multiple chargers, the apple product is a nice alternative because you get to keep the charger that came with the watch.

Still, spending 10 dollars vs. 80.

How much is an additional charger chord? About $30?

So about half the price plus you don't have to dye it.

Other than don't need AW charging cable, but need a lightning cable, what make "charging disc" better, or just different design, more "elegant", but same function?

While the Sundix dock/charger pictured doesn't display the watch as elegantly as Apple's dock, for $10 it's a pretty enticing alternative. Too late for me, but others may want to check out this very appealing alternative.

What material is the apple dock? I'm sure this $10 versions is some type of silicon

The Apple Dock feels like solid stainless steel wrapped in a suede leather cover. Very luxe. I don't know if it's $80 worth of luxe, but it sure is nice!

since when do you have to dye the apple dock?

also, you have to look at the unsightly gap between the coaster and the... skirt?

I've read that some people are thinking about dying their dock black.

That gap is part of what makes it not as elegant.
