Hello everyone, I sold my Series 8 cellular a few weeks back, and the buyer just told me this is what shows up on the watch
“Activation Lock prevents anyone, not the owner from using this Apple Watch.
To unlock this Apple Watch, enter the Apple ID and password used during setup.

Check if the watch is still visible in your account settings and/or Find My. If yes, remove it from there.

I assume you have unpaired it before selling it - sometimes this process errors out at some point

Thank you I still see it on Find My on iCloud.com I just removed it from my account the buyer is happy.
