I was wondering if there will be a mute/do not disturb feature on the Watch? I would assume it would work just like the iPhone, with ability to control volume and vibration, but what do you think?

I think there would be a do not disturb feature, if not, I am pretty sure you could just disable notifications on your phone

Well I hope Apple has the common sense to know that if my phones on do not disturb then my watch should be too.

Well yeah, but ALSO have a do not disturb setting where the watch gets notifications and the phone does not.

For me: phone notifications start at 7am. I'd hope watch notifications start at 8am. Then phone notifications end at 9pm, but watch ones continue until 11pm.

Well as madsci shown above there are Do not Disturb setting on the Apple watch. So you should be able to schedule it each device as you want :)

It will be interesting to see how they make this make sense to the user, if there are separate settings since the watch isn't getting any notifications directly.

Also interesting is the connectivity menu someone posted above. I can't see it controlling the phone since you'd lose connectivity with the phone if your turn off bluetooth or enable airplane mode. So you really need an airplane mode on your watch?
