So I can't stand my S0 running out of battery half day anymore and is going to invest in a portable charger.

Just debating between the three below. Price difference is almost double but considering the Battery Pro will charge both the watch and phone together at the same time, thinking if it's worth the extra cost. What are your thoughts guys.

I know this has no relation to your thread whatsoever, but why not trade in/sell your first generation Apple Watch and upgrade to at least a Series one, which would have improved battery. It just sounds like your current battery is degrading past its lifespan and might need replacing.

I’m really holding off for the series 4, but just doesn’t help that I can’t even get past 6pm when I put it on at 7am.

Understandable. I think Belkin is a reliable brand if it was my choice.

That was my initial choice, but paying the same price and getting an extra 2000mah, I'm leaning towards the Elevation Lab one. Seems more reliable with charging both at the same time since it outputs at the same rate as a 12W plug.

I kind of agree with Relentless power. Why not buy a series 1 for $150, rather than spend $100 on a charger. It's certainly more convenient & you can sell it for probably $100 if/when the Series 4 comes out, if the new ones are worth upgrading to. If you don't want to do that, i'd buy one of those compact batteries that's abut $40 & call it a day. To me, spending $100 on a watch charger is crazy expensive. Or else, buy a second charging cable (if you have a job where you are at a desk for a good part of the day & can plug it in)

I bought ugreen charger which appears to do the trick. Also a s0 owner. So far the newer apple watches are not a cause for an upgrade for me.

I've heard the charging on the watch is extremely slow. Is that the case?

I really like the Elevation Lab BatteryPro. I bought one for my wife and was so impressed I got one for myself. I am going to be sad when the battery wears out as I don't think I'll be able to open it to replace the cell but that's ok.

With my other battery pack the Watch charging puck doesn't draw enough current on it's own to prevent the pack from shutting off so I always had to charge a Watch and a phone at the same time to charge the Watch. The BatteryPro does not have this problem.

For camping in a tent the Watch retention strap works great to prevent the watch from getting dislodged in the middle of the night. Also I love how the BatteryPro doesn't keep a light on while charging, again while camping the light from my Anker is very bright on a moonless night.

That's great to hear as I just placed an order on one. Is the charging speed for the watch as quick as the actual apple watch charger? I heard UGreen's is quite slow when it comes to charging so that's why I opted out of that.

Not sure about the charging speed as I've only charged the watch at night and I'd only notice if it weren't fully charged in the morning.
