Apple Watch Screen Protector??

Do people use screen protectors for their Watches the same as a phone?? For some reason I think you won't drop the Watch as much as a Phone but I may be wrong.

I thought the same thing.
I’ve been using an Apple Watch since gen 0 launch and I’ve never used a screen protector nor damaged my watch screen in any way.
The glass is very durable IMO

I've never used any screen protectors on my watch.I use it a lot in the gym and had no scratches whatsoever.
However, I bumped hard into a wall few times(direct contact between the sharp edges of the well and the screen) and as a result, I've got some minor scratches on it.

But overall,with good care and avoiding contact with sharp edges,it should be fine without any protection.

My view FWIW is would you wear a screen protector on a 'normal' watch? I know I don't. And before anyone says about the value, I have a couple of higher value watches as well as old 'sport style' watches.

A phone I think is a different thing, it is in the hand, pocket, bag etc and can be dropped easily. A watch may get knocked, but all watches do.

I have a S0 SS and a S2 SS, work out with both, do the gardening etc and the screens are perfect still. Every few months I buff up the stainless steel with a cap cod cloth or 'mothers' cream and they both look like new

I think just enjoy the watch and don't try to cover it up

Yeah I'm not sure. I kinda want to have one cos I'll be selling it eventually so want it to be prestige. Equally there don't see many screen protectors that actually fit the watch (either flimsy or glass which doesn't fit the curved edges).

I don't even use one on my phone. But the Sapphire glass on the stainless steel watch is pretty durable not easy to scratch or damage. I can't say about the aluminum watch as I don't know anyone with the aluminum version.

I bang my SS into things all the time...sometimes so hard, I'm sure it'll leave a gouge or scratch. But the sapphire and SS are surprisingly tough. I see no scratches on my SS series 2.

I wouldn't worry about selling it. The used market for these isn't that hot.

I don’t have an SS and was using a screen protector for a while, but they just don’t work well, so I took it off. Was using it in a case to protect it, but took that off too. If it gets damaged. Eh, I have AppleCare+ on it.

i've had a wet install protector on the sapphire of my SS. doesn't need it, but it came with the armorsuit body protector i bought. both have been on the watch for ~8 months with no issues. the screen protector wraps around the sides of the screen. both are basically invisible.

I do have a plastic snap on screen protector. Somehow, I beat the hell out of watch crystals and have cracked several sturdy ones in my life - and having gotten the aluminum sport one - mine would be horrible within a week. I will say that the watch 3 does not do nearly as well with it on as my first version one does. I have had to snap it off a few times today to use the touch screen and I never have to do that on my first version one.

My wife and I have S0 Watches and both have tiny scratches. A little annoying, but I have to go looking on mine to find it. The Case on the other hand... it's done well, but I suppose it could stick out a bit more as the design is "cleaner" than most other watches.

i use the normal zagg screen cover (I say normal as i think you can get one's which are more 'hard shell' rather than wet applications)

I ended up getting the same screen protector for my new Series 3. I'm extremely satisfied so far. Not usually a fan of wet install screen protectors, but it's probably the best way to go given the curved glass front of the Apple Watch.
