Apple Watch SE Black Screen

I haven't found anything searching this forum about it yet but if its already been answered, can someone point me to it? Ever since 2 updates ago my Apple Watch SE will every-so-often have an unresponsive black screen after I turn it on. It usually happens if its on my wrist while its turning on and I forget to unlock it after a while. I can tell its actually on because it shows up in the battery widget on my iphone and the only way to "fix" it is to do a hard reset w/the crown/side buttons. Anyone have similar issues or fix it? I haven't tried a total reset yet but might soon.
