Hi I purchased this watch supposedly brand new in the title of the eBay seller then the description said it was a replacement. Either way the screen seems as though there is a defect the borders showing up as white or yellow, with the centre being purple/ blue. I was thinking this maybe screen burn in, or some other kind of defect.

This only shows in certain angles and in direct light.

I am considering returning it on the bases the screen is defective what is your thoughts? is this normal? has anyone else noticed it?

Looks perfect to me.
But if you look around the edges of the screen theres a clear difference in the colour this does not appear normal. I presume you can see what I am referring to. Whats your thoughts not that?
[doublepost=1529234212][/doublepost]Heres two other pictures with the screen turned off which have direct office light. This is probably the worst it can look. This I can see more so with the direct light, without its not really a problem. I have also attached a picture with the screen turned on with direct light the same effect is present.

This must be a joke. The screen is broke and the device is worthless.
Sounds like you are over exaggerating with regards to the device being worthless. By what means do you mean the screen is broken, if you could elaborate on that please as you seem certain.

Sorry after looking again I see it has a screen protector on it and is not physically broken. Hard to tell is it is broken with the protector on it. Do not know how you could stand having it there in that condition.

With or without the screen protector that blueish/ purplish colour is present in the centre only with direct light, it definitely annoys me considering I work in an office which makes it much more noticeable. I take it you are referring to the condition of the OLED screen or are you referring to the condition of the screen protector lol?

Its your decision. Clearly you’re not satisfied with it, especially since you’re questioning the display. You’re photo’s are somewhat difficult to tell by, you will have to use your best judgement.

Thanks mate appreciate it. I just have this sneaking suspicion that its going to a long process having to return a product to eBay. I have never done it before. Have you had experience with this kind of things. There is also another issue when scrolling there leaves these purplish ghosting, its not permanent, but only temporary for duration of scrolling and it bouncing back. Checked my GF's apple watch it doesnt have this problem.

You need to follow eBays rules for this not what is told you here. If you think it is defective go to eBay and start the return process.

Hard to tell anything with that screen protector on. I would redo the pics without it. But if you think it is defective maybe visit apple first?

Its not difficult. Also, contact the seller and explain the situation. eBay has buyer protection as well in situations like this.
