Hi folks!

So, as the title says... would an Apple Watch Series 6 (Ti) with A2515 Fast Charger and 20w usb-c brick charge faster than the old (series 0-6) cable and 5w brick? AND more importably, is it safe for the health of the battery?

I imagine it may charge faster, but NOT as fast as a series 7 and I am ok with that ...but I may be wrong (it may not be any faster).

The larger fear I have is that the new fast charge cable and 20w brick may not be healthy for the longevity of the device.

I was able to snag a series 6 Ti watch for a 'too good to pass up' price and I jumped. Previous owner upgraded...and included the new fast charger because they didn't want to buy a new brick. New 45mm Midnight leather link, new (original) edition sport band, and over a year on the warranty to boot as well!

Just want to baby this watch as much as possible and do not want to degrade the battery too much over time.

Thanks for the insight!

The device limits the max power input it allows, so you could hook it up to any charging block that the cable fits into without worry.
