Midnight leather loop came in. Band is super comfortable like has been mentioned in this thread.

However I will be taking this back to apple and exchanging for black. Midnight is definitely a super dark navy. Probably grab chalk too while I’m at it.

Looks black in that photo 🤔 they don’t sell the black leather links band anymore, what am I missing? 🤔

My local apple store has a black one in stock. I almost bought it the other day, but I saved $9 on this one through the EPP site. I’ll see if they’ll match it for me, if not, I’ll pony up the extra dough.

It looks black until the light hits is or you put it next to something that really is black. Then you’re able to see the blue hues.

It’s not actually weaker, per se. it’s just that it takes more force to distribute the vibration through a denser material with more mass. If you hit something with greater mass (more condensed molecules), the energy doesn’t reverberate/pass through it as strongly as something with less density. The increased mass dampens the vibration/energy. It’s just physics. No way to get around it.

Titanium will transfer the energy of haptics more because it is about half as dense as steel. Aluminum has even less mass and therefore transfers energy the most (I.e., the haptics are felt strongest).
Now that makes a lot of sense. You’re a lot smarter than I am. 👍👍👍

Nice! I want that blue to shine through. 👌
