I am planning to buy my first apple watch. I am moving from fitbit world to Apple dimension. I am little confuse on which strip is better among Braided solo loop, Sport band, Sport loop. Does Braided solo loop become lose after sometimes ? Does sport loop gets bad after long period of use. does sport band get too hot at higher temperature? I checked online reviews and answers varies. Also I lives in Singapore which is hot and humid 365 days. So anyone who has used all 3 types and can advice on this

The classic band for an Apple Watch is the sports band which is comfortable and easily adjustable. I suggest you start with that.

the loops, braided and sports are amazing but you really need to try them on at a store to determine your number, the printable guide isn’t very accurate many have found and it becomes a hassle of returns until you dial it in. Now that I know “my number” I have several sports loops and 1 braided loop. I’ve had no issue after a year of use on the sports loop and the braided I wear less often and find it hasn’t stretched much for me but again I don’t worry it as often. I think some have commented on the braided stretching but I don’t think it’s a huge issue.

people also like the Velcro loops (forgot what they are called) and while I have a couple and they are nice I’ve never like them as the bread and butter daily band so I’m not sure I’m the best to comment.

I agree.
Better is subjective as they are all great products.
I never liked the silicone therefore sports band but my daughter prefers it for her work.
I love the braided loop but sizing can be tricky, I ended up preferring one size down.

if you know you want a dress up band… whatever band you order with the watch if you get apple care is covered too.

You might see what the shipping implication is with each choice and let that determine. Given how long shipping is, order a few until you can get to store to try on there.

I hate the sports band - it’s hot, thick, and doesn’t breathe. easily the worst OEM band I’ve tried. If you really must have that stupid silicone, both the Nike sports band and the solo loop are better. But sports loop beats them all, easily. Terrific for both casual and fitness. (I haven’t tried the braided, but I’ve heard they stretch out over time.)
