I always liked the Apple watch, but im more traditional: i could never replace the traditional watch with a digital one. but i would definitely buy a slim one a la fit bit. Will we ever see an apple watch slim?

This question gets asked a lot. And I always like to say in rebuttal, have you even looked at the competition for smart watches on the market? They’re literally _twice_ the size of the Apple Watch in terms of thickness/weight. The Apple Watch is actually one of the smaller smart watches on the market, as a result, it doesn’t necessarily need to get any thinner, especially when it can only become so thin given it’s still using lithium ion technology for a battery.

I don't care about thickness or weight and i am well aware of how small it is. but it still remains a watch. Which is what i don't wish to invest in, since I already carry a watch with me. It would look very weird if i had to wear both a traditional watch and an apple watch.

Im talking something similar to the fitbit inspire at the very least.

Personally, I don't think they will make this in the future. Maybe 10 years from now, they will have a fancy personal medical device, but I don't see a fork of the watch in near future.

It’ll probably get slimmer over time. But there definitely won’t be a separate “slim” option.
