Apple Watch SS 44mm Gold with milanese loop shipment delay!!!

hello all,

I have been tracking my order of 44mm SS gold milanese watch and today my shipping has slipped from Sept 28-Oct 2 to Oct 2 - Oct 4.

I preordered it the moment it went live and am quite angry that my date has slipped.

Is anyone in the same shoes who ordered the same watch with different shipping date?

Just to clarify, this thread is only for the 44mm SS Gold Milanese as I am aware the other models are shipping currently.

Same boat. Ordered at like 3:01am est and was just notified of the delay; now shipping 10/4-10/8.

I am ultrapissed that the watch is taking forever to be shipped! and its simply this model I believe. ugh!

I also ordered a space grey from att which I’ve been wearing since Friday. At least I’ve had that to fall back on. The gold I think will be worth the wait. I’m excited.

I'm beginning to believe the delay is two fold for SS watches. First, the SS watches (regardless of color) are in short supply. Second, the Milanese loop seems to be constrained. I've been looking at stock as well as reports in other threads and what I see moving is SS with the sports band. Having said that you can order the band direct from Apple with next day shipping but maybe stock in China is the problem?
