Amazon today has a low price on three models of the Apple Watch Ultra 2, available for $714.00, down from $799.00. Right now only Amazon has this sale, and it does not require a coupon in order to see the discount.

Models on sale at this price include the Green/Grey Trail Loop (S/M), the Blue/Black Trail Loop (S/M), and the Indigo Alpine Loop (Small). Stock on the Blue/Black Trail Loop has been dwindling this afternoon, but the other two models appear well stocked as of writing.

Although we tracked a steeper discount on the Apple Watch Ultra 2 back in March, that sale was a bit of a fluke and only ever appeared for one model and has never returned. This makes today's discounts at Amazon solid second-best prices on the high-end wearable, and they can be delivered as soon as this weekend for Prime members.

There are a few other Apple Watch deals going on right now for anyone interested in cheaper models. You can get the 40mm GPS Apple Watch SE for $189.00 and the 44mm GPS Apple Watch SE for $219.00 right now on Amazon.

Keep up with all of this week's best discounts on Apple products and related accessories in our dedicated Apple Deals roundup.

When I looked at the details on the Apple Watch Ultra 2 on Amazon the other day, the model number listed indicated that it would NOT be the one that has SpO2 disabled. I am not sure if this is accurate this many months after the ruling on that.

Amazon shows the model number as ‎MRF33LL/A

Apple's website says:
The ability to measure blood oxygen is no longer available on Apple Watch units sold by Apple in the United States beginning January 18, 2024. These are indicated with part numbers ending in LW/A.

could be old stock ... good deal though

And just as I was thinking my 1st-gen Apple Watch SE has been acting up lately and the battery life has been getting worse... this is weirdly good timing (or, alternatively, bad timing for my wallet 💸)

IF this Is the lowest price, then it either A) must include the O2 sensor or B) it’s not the lowest, but rather a higher lowest price since such a key feature has been removed.

So what is it?

I have the same model and noticing the same. Seems to last 7 hours at the most these days. I'm going to try and hold out until the next generation drops though.

I would be scared stiff of losing or breaking it at that price. I have a Fitbit watch and I cracked the screen on it about six months ago at work, that bothered me, and it was less than £150.

The ultra is intentionally pretty tough

I use an Apple Watch and I work in a machine shop, frequently around stuff (sharp, hard, abrasive, corrosive) that could take this thing out of this world. My solution is the TPU full watch protectors, and I take it off when things get hairy. My main issue is the magnetic watch bands are a no go in my line of work, they pick up microscopic steel chips and become incredibly painful to wear.

Good to know but I’ll hold off. I plan to trade in my Series 9 for an Ultra once the blood oxygen sensor is brought back or if the Ultra 3 provides enough new features to offset the loss of blood oxygen.
Just buy it in any country in the world that isn't the US.

Same thing I'm gonna have to do with my next iPhone, I'll be buying out of Canada so I can get a real SIM tray instead of the idiotic e-SIM nonsense.

Yea LL/A does have the O2 sensor. I got mine right before the ban. It is a LL/A with the O2.

I’ve thought about buying the watch overseas. Good idea about the iPhone and SIM card.

Can anyone confirm that the Apple Watch warranty is worldwide? I found this on Apple’s website:

If the product is portable, meaning that it can operate independently without a power cord, you may obtain warranty service worldwide. However, service will be limited to the options available in the country where service is requested.

This should mean you can have the watch (or phone) serviced in U.S. if you buy it in Canada, for instance.

Gotta be careful about that. There are different versions of devices in different countries.

My fitbit strap came off when I got it caught between two cages on wheels, it then fell on the floor and cracked the screen. It still works and still does what it needs to do, I may update it at some point.
To be honest, it is mainly a gimmick, while I do use it now and again with Google Pay, I find the most useful thing is the ability to set different alarms and reminders.
Before I got my fitbit, I was using a cheap £5 Casio analogue watch., I got the fitbit as it was on offer and very cheap.
To make use of an Apple Watch, an Iphone is required, and I doubt very much if I will ever get an Iphone.
