Apple Watch Ultra 3 screws with smudge(loctite) out of the box?

Hello guys,

this might just be my OCD acting up but I just opened my Ultra 3 and found some blue paste in the screw holes. It also had a smudge on the backside that I could wipe of. It also has a slight imperfextion on the crown. I attached pictures of everything. My Ultra 1 didn‘t have that. So I wanted to know if this is normal for the Ultra 3 or some manufacturing issue.

that's quite odd, almost looks like an open box? who'd you get it from? I'd return it, visible in everyday use or not

The box was sealed and I bought it from a reputable store. I think it might just be loctite I looked for close ups of the back and in this article the watch screws have sth. similar it’s much harder to see from a normal distance https://www.ablogtowatch.com/apple-watch-ultra-3-review-advancing-the-gamification-of-life/ . The smudge and the imperfection on the crown could be wiped off.

No way Apple would have LocTite showing on its screws. I don’t think Apple uses the stuff.

If you're unhappy return it, these products are so expensive, it doesn't make sense to compromise imo

It looks like they messed with it.

I activated it and got the 61 days for AppleCare purchase message so I don’t think it was used before. An like I mentioned everything was sealed in the Original Packaging. It might just be that I looked closer than most people at those screws. I bought the watch with gift cards so shipping it back might be a bit of a hassle.
Does anyone have closeups of their Ultra3 screws?
I will look for some online.

This is one of the few closeups I could find online and it looks similar to mine, maybe less blue stuff.
