Apple why is it so hard? Safari 15 fixed (concept)

Given Apple seem to be digging the hole deeper trying to cram everything into one floating tab I thought I'd do a quick concept of how too fix this and the solution is obvious, bring back the button bar.

With this UI everything is given space and functions are visible.

• Reader mode is visible on pages that support it, press to view
• Refresh on the tab, just like the Safari you know
• Swipe between different tabs
• Back button always visible and forward appears when you need it
• Share menu for sharing
• More '...' for extensions and additional functions
• Bookmarks in one tap!

What do we think?

I think it looks great. I typically ignore concepts because they're usually so out there that there's no chance Apple would do anything like it but this looks right.

They basically did this in beta 6, demand credit from apple haha

They could kill the back and forward buttons too, most users swipe anyway, and place something more useful there, or just make it customizable.

Haven’t heard from them yet! I’m just pleased to see my concept become a reality in the space of few weeks so cheers for that Apple.

You should make a concept for notes, calendar and email, and hopefully they’ll copy that, too 😂 🙏

That’s crazy. I’d try contacting a lawyer… but ye, a great achievement cuz it’s clear it’s been inspired by your concept.
