Was there an iPad Pro released in 2019 ? No they skipped 2019 and released a 2020 model with the same CPU as the 2018 model. They will do it again in 2021. What is there to Upgrade ? Not much. And since Apple licenses new architeture changes from ARM (Now NVIDIA) there’s nothing significant from ARM to release There will be no A14X IPad Pro SKU.

Of “the power of a MacBook Pro in the palm of your hands” It will be amazing. I can see the Ads now, Apple takes a lady holding a MacBook Pro and it get sucked and shrunk down to the size of a table. And with the MiniLED display Apple takes a 34” Pro Display XDR and shrinks it to the size of an iPad Pro. Now you have Pro Display XDR Color Profiles and MacBook Pro performance in an iPad Pro size.
