I picked up a 3 month subscription to try Apple Music again on a promotion. It went to monthly a few days ago.
I cancelled about 4 hours into "Day 1". Apple use to be able to allow this.
Apple charged me 10.99. I asked for a refund. Denied refund. Appealed for the refund and again denied. I called. They would not do anything. "They didn't see any option to do anything"
This is not good. It is more than annoying. I am not able to cancel a service. Guess Apple is becoming like a gym membership now.
Ironically I was going to get the service for yearly in April. I just wanted it to renew at the start of the month. But their new type of "Terms And Services" makes me feel ill and have no interest in continuing.
If I wasn't so invested in the ecosystem, I would be out. To me this is where they are going as a company.
Yes it was "my fault" for not unsubscribing at teh precise moment. Yes it is probably there in the terms. It just doesn't sit right. Perhaps this will save someone else from the new "terms and services" era apple.
