my keyboard keeps connecting and disconnecting all the time. and i have to occasionally have to pair it time and time again! is this a lion kink or is my new keyboard to blame here?

cheers all

when starting up my mac mini i have to pair the keyboard now. every time since upgrading to Lion.
never did it before w/ SL.

My first macmini didnt have a problem. My second macmini had a serious problem similar to what you descibed. My third macmini purchased i5 last week has no problems. I cant believe I put up with it for so long.

I have had the same problem with my Macbook Air loosing connection with the Apple BT keyboard, ever since upgrading to Lion. Sometimes simply leaving the computer long enough for it to go to sleep results in loss of the connection. Sometimes it will return spontaneously, other times I must reconnect.

Today for the 1st time, I had to remove the keyboard from the BT list and re-add it. It took a while to get around to trying that and I was more than a little frustrated!

I NEVER had this problem under Snow Leopard.

I'm having this problem right now as well. It worked great, then one day I paired it with my iPod touch to try it out. Now it connects and disconnects from the computer. The iPod is not in range.

Did you ever un-pair it from the iPod Touch?

No problems here. I bought my wireless keyboard in July 2012. I'm running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, on a late 2011 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5.

I ditched my apple bt keyboard and went with the Logitech solar powered one. Now more issues. Bonus, no more batteries...
