Applecare+ and name change.

Hi, sorry I wasn't sure where to put this thread, so this seemed like the closest to place it.

I have changed my legal name, and I am trying to find a way to update my AppleCare details to reflect this.

Anyone know how I go about doing this?

You should contact Apple directly. If I am not mistaken, AC+ is tied to the device. But, just in a case I am wrong, have Apple correct your name on your account. You can try changing your name on the Appleid site, as well as through iTunes, although I don’t know if the latter will work.

I made a change to my name on the Appleid site a good while back, if I remember correctly.

Yes to the device, but you are allowed to transfer it to another person, so you should be able to change your name somehow.
