Other AppleCare+ Ending Early

I received my proof of coverage of AppleCare+ for my incoming iPhone 12 Pro. I noticed the end date is on 10/16/2022. That is weird that it is starting even before I received my phone. So I checked last year for my iPhone 11 Pro, and sure enough it will end on 9/19/2021 which is right as I received my phone on the 20th. Have other received their notifications with the same dates?

In the end, probably doesn't matter but if I still have this phone, murphy's law says that it will break in that last week.

It will update to the date of when it is delivered.

The same happened with my Apple Watch 6, was the 17th; delivered on the 29th and was adjusted to 2 years from then.

It will readjust. I purchased Applecare + for my 11 pro max on day 60 and original showed it would expire on around end of October of 2021. However, after some time it readjusted to 9/23/2021. So don’t worry about it.
