Hi everyone

Been out of touch with Applecare and its changes. Bought a M1 iPad Pro from ebay and it has Applecare+ attached to it (from what i can see in the settings pane). Question is, can I make use of it until it the coverage runs out or will I need the owner to verify any potential claims or support queries?

You can ask the original owner to transfer it to you. They’d have to reach out to Apple to do it

You could.

Of course, that might just alert the original owner to the fact that they COULD get a pro-rated refund. So if you're gonna do that, offer to compensate them.
