Hello all!

Quick question, AppleCare Protection Plan states that it will extend your technical support and hardware coverage for up to "two years from the original purchase date of your iPhone." I purchased my iphone on 8/23/2008. So my reasoning is that my coverage would extend to 8/23/2010 right.

However I just looked at my AppleCare Agreement for my iphone and it list the expiration date of 8/22/2010. This is also the case for a friend of mine with a iphone and perhaps for many of you too.

Just wondering if anybody knows WHY this is the case and if there's a valid argument that the coverage should be extended that extra day since that's what's implied by the "two years of coverage from purchase date"?

Thanks in advance for any responses!

P.S.
I know it might be silly to make a fuss about an extra day of coverage. My friend will be dealing with AppleCare later today to find out if they can still cover his iphone as he is having major problems with it the day after his expiration which technically would still be under coverage if it wasn't short one day.

The coverage includes the day you bought it (it has to otherwise out-of-the box problems would not be covered). So their coverage calculation is correct.

Wow, my AppleCare is a day short too. Let's get a class action law suit going.

It's a waste of money. First off, the water sensors are way to sensitive, and if you've had ANY discoloration of either visible water sensor.....Your Apple Care extended warranty is VOIDED.

It's happened to me, and I will NEVER buy the extended coverage ever again from apple.
