Applecare for iPhone?

Will there be applecare available for the iPhone? And do you think you'll be able to get it even if you buy from an ATT store?

Currently, ATT doesnt offer insurance on any of their smartphones, and a few years ago when i bought my first RAZR (they had just come out) they didnt offer it on that either. Im hoping they have insurance for it because not a lot of people are going to want to shell out so much money for a phone without any safety net. I mean, I'd rather have insurance and Applecare, but it isnt going to stop me from buying the phone the minute it comes out.

Insure it through private property insurance then. I never use the cell phone company's insurance. waste of moeny when I'm already paying for personal property insurance for everything else i own.
