I am considering getting a 13 and getting the Applecare+ monthly with it paying $8/month.

Can anyone confirm if the AppleCare monthly goes on forever until I cancel?
The apple rep I just talked with it said the max AppleCare can go for is 3 years....is this true?

I thought AppleCare+ for iPhone only lasted 24 months. For computers, it lasts 36 months.

Extended warranties do not go forever.

^^This. In US and select other countries.

With the new warranties (ie. monthly), can be forever. Actually, fixed-term can be as well: once your "classic" AC+ expires, can renew.

So this is what I thought so cuz nowhere does it say the monthly plan has an end date. But the apple sales rep I just talked with said that the max is 3 years. Even if u get the standard one time payment of the 2 year plan, you can extend after with a monthly for another year....a total of 3 years.

It makes sense that its forever...
