Applecare on Refurbished from Amazon?

Hi, I got a refurbished 2021 MacBook Pro from Amazon at the end of October and purchased the Asurian warranty. Can I still purchase Applecare? Is it necessary to have both?

Computers bought "refurbished" from Amazon are just used computers that have been cleaned, so they don't qualify for AppleCare.
