Today I received an AppleCare+ Proof of Coverage that covers TWO IPAD PRO,12.9,3GN,CELL,1TB,GRAY.
It includes the Hardware Serial numbers - one for each of the iPads

The thing is I only purchased only ONE iPad, and that one is 512GB not the 1TB

Once it arrives tomorrow I will check that that serial number is indeed showing AppleCare.

Any one else experienced something like this?

Thanks - Checking the serials on the coverage web site, one confirms is an iPad and the other a Pencil as you stated. Surprised they got the product descriptions wrong....

To confirm, you got confirmed coverage for the ipad AND the pencil in an email? I got the email for the iPad, but there is nothing about the pencil that I also ordered (in the same order with the iPad).

Same happened to me. I called this morning when I got the email and they were very confused and couldn’t explain what happened other than to confirm that their computer system had the right information.
