I just got my powerbook back from Apple today and the following codes are listed as items that were replaced. I can infer what some are, but am unclear as to the other, non-obvious, ones.

1. FLX CKT Assy, HDD, PB15''

2. DA Toshiba Pluto 4200RPM 80GB HD

3. Thermal Module Assy, PB15''

4. PCBA, MLB 1.25GHZ, PB15''

I know that, that's why I backed up because it is my job. But, I appreciate your terse post, which didn't answer my question, but instead provided a piece of information I was well aware of, albeit in a condescending manner.

if you know that they don't back up your drive. then you should know that you'll have to reinstall or wipe and clone your info over from your backup depending on how you backup. sorry if you thought i was rude.

Actually one thing I definitely do not know is what the thermal module does? I can guess it is heat related, but aside from that have no clue.
