Applecare+ states coverage expiry is 1 year not 2?

I’ve just purchased applecare+ on my AirPods pro2 however it stated the expiry date is 21/10/23 (12 months after purchase) I was under the impression the AppleCare+ covers 2 years?

Isn't 21/10/22 the date of purchase? The plan should expire two years after that.
