How long after you purchase a new Mac do you have to put the warranty on it? (AppleCare)..I just bough the one I am on the day after Christmas.

If you go to https://support.apple.com/my-support and log in, you'll be able to see your Applecare+ purchase options for your new Mac based on your purchase date. Apple's website will indicate 60 days to purchase it, but there's an unadvertised one year window too based on an Apple announcement last year and a few members' posts here that you can do it in-store after an inspection.

Well I should have it on it in a couple months. If not I will just have to live with the manufacture warranty and hope nothing happens!
Make sure it is wrapped in bubble wrap during use, and you should be fine until you get AC+.
No they are better than that..I was on a 21.5 for over 7 years and never had a problem. If this 27 is half as good as that late 2012 21.5 it will be a damn good one. If something happens then I will deal with it then..Fingers crossed....
You should be good. You can also check if you have the my support app on your phone, it will show you all the products with your appleID and how long you have to purchase AppleCare.

Because of Apple care Plus covering accidental damage I think it might be like 30 days. I see you have to go to a store to verify the condition, so will do that when that happens.
Just discovered that there seems to be no way to purchase AppleCare online with ApplePay. On both the desktop and mobile, it only offers a credit card option. Is that because they don't want to refund the 3%?
I did not use ApplePay so sorry cannot help you...I did go ahead and get Apple Care but it definitely put a dent in my wallet!
Apple Pay and Apple Card are two separate things, although you can add your Apple Card to Apple Pay. Any credit card (and debit cards I assume) can be added to Apple Pay. Are you sure it won't work with a card other than the Apple Card via Apple Pay?
Yes, I understand. But you only get the 3% on Apple purchases if you use it as Apple Pay; just using the card number as a credit card would only yield 1%. Seems odd that an Apple purchase doesn't offer Apple Pay (vs the card) as a payment choice when so many other sites do.
