My imac is coming to the end of its 1st year warranty, so going to take out AppleCare. Has anyone used Jigsaw24 of Nottingham for AppleCare, theirs is cheaper than Apples own. ?.

As long as you have no issues using the law and your statutory rights then you have no need for applecare in the UK

Please explain.

As long as the business you are buying it from includes the box that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt the code inside is genuine it's fine. Other places to look for discounted versions of AppleCare are Amazon and LA Computer Company, both are authorized resellers of Apple products.

smalldog.com has great deals on Applecare as well. Just buy it, for the iMac its 189 undiscounted, at that price you can't go wrong for 3 years of protection.
