AppleID Question and Safari Bookmark backup/restore question

Two Related Questions:

My wife and I started out years ago using the same AppleID (though now that's frowned upon) because that was long before family sharing existed.

Now we want to separate and use individual AppleIDs. It seems as everything we want to share can be done EXCEPT for Safari Bookmarks.

1) Can she change from a .mac AppleID to an existing .gmail AppleID of hers?

Everything I've looked up for backup/restore of iPhones to our Macs does not handle Safari Bookmarks.

2) Does anyone know of a product or some other method that will do this?

Apple Accounts can be any email you want.

As far as bookmarks go, iCloud will sync them between Mac and iOS. “Backup” won’t work. Enable Safari sync iCloud settings.

I know iOS/macOS sync, but only with the same AppleID... Bookmarks are not shared with Family sharing.
