This is a bit of a rant, so I apologise in advance!
We've all seen examples of Apple's seemingly random rejection of applications but we seem to have suffered more than most recently - in the last month we've submitted 4 applications to the app store and every one of them has been rejected or we received an e-mail saying "Review is delayed" and heard nothing since.
These aren't apps that are pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable under the developer agreements and we've seen almost identical apps to a couple of them appear in the app store whilst we've been waiting.
Unfortunately, I can't divulge what the apps are or why they were rejected (it's against Apple's NDA) but it wasn't because they don't work or anything like that.
This is really making me reconsider whether we can view the App Store as a viable platform for my company: I'm trying to run a business and this sort of arbitrary decision making by Apple (who act as Judge, Jury and Executioner) doesn't exactly help!
