Since the EU is asking all tech companies to use one charger, Apple will probably go wireless. However, I think wireless charging technology isnt good enough yet. I think Apple should change the lighting port to USB-C. What do you guys think?

I think they already switched to USB-C for iPads; for the Apple TV remote; and already are planning to release the next iPhone with USB-C. In fact, there are plenty of articles here on these forums corroborating this, and lots of posts about it.

All iPhone 15's will have USB-C and there have been plenty of discussion on the subject in the tech world as well as this forum over the last 6 months...

I don't think Apple will risk alienating hundreds of millions of users by removing the charging port, though personally, I have been charging my 13 pro max using magsafe since the day I bought it, though it doesn't seem to have done wonders for its battery health (currently at 88%). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it will get to the point where I can request for a free battery swap before AppleCare expires in September this year.
