I must admit i am a recent convert to the Apple Brand and i have been overwhelmed by the level of service, understanding & compassion shown from this company :D

I have started this thread to show how impressed i am :)

I have had my iPhone swapped out now for the fourth time in 10 months the first time was due to 3G signal problems and the last three for light leaking from between the bezel and screen on the left hand side!

I called the Apple Care team this evening to report the problem of the light leaking and within 10 mins they had arranged an appointment at the Genius bar at my local Apple Store for tomorrow at 10:20am to get the iPhone swapped out again! less than 12 hours from reporting the problem :D:D

Yesterday i called them to report a problem i had after upgrading to 10.6.2 on my MacBook Pro with my sound being low and within 30 mins they called me back with a resolution to the problem :apple::D

I can honestly say i have never experienced this level of service from any company that i have had dealings with!! ;)

As the saying goes you get what you pay for :apple::apple:

Keep up the good work :apple: :D

Although I love my iPhone, I'm not impressed with their "geniuses". The one I dealt with before was a complete dick.

Apple is brilliant.

Instead of doing expensive quality control before leaving the factory to weed out obvious defects such as iPhones with light leaks, Apple lets their customers spend the extra money to find and return them.

Apple can then act magnamious and replace the bad units without question, thus making the customer feel special.

It's a win-win for Apple.

(half-joking)

I've had excellent Applecare (failed HDD in MBA) and Genius (several iPhone swaps) experiences.

Apple's genius customer service is one of the best. I had a very unfortunate event that took place with my iPhone 3GS, you guys might be amazed that this actually happened.....I accidentally dropped my iPhone in the toilet(I know, I know, typical right?) and everything had shut off from my phone, I then left my iPhone off for about two days and reboot it back on. Everything seemed fine but the backlit display screen. It was really dim and dark, so I made an appointment with my local Apple store to have my iPhone looked at. Went and saw one of the genius guys and told them what happened.
He took my iPhone and went to the back room, to what I thought, "Crap, they're going to tell me it has liquid damage and can't fix it and plus it also voided my warranty..." Well, the guy comes back and flashed my iPhone back at me with the backlit display working!!! They replaced the backlit display screen on my iPhone and everything went back to normal! I was so stoked it made my day. So my iPhone is back up and running like nothing ever happened, still shows the water indicator sensor triggered, but everything is fully operable for the past few days now and still going.
Just thought I'd give my input as well, Thanks Apple, for the great customer service.

**Moral of my story, sometimes, just sometimes, honesty goes a long way...and of course depending on who your genius customer service rep was too!:D

Well, no company can have absolutely perfect quality control. But apple does an outstanding job with defects.

My sister's MacBook Pro lid quit closing, and we realised we'd been opening it incorrectly, and had actually caused the damage ourselves. We explained how we had had no idea we were actually opening the lid incorrectly (not pressing the small button, instead just pulling it open), and they explained that that could happen, and we only paid $100 for a brand new lid/screen, when it should have been at least $700 or $800. It was totally awesome of them. They also fixed a poor LCD on my new 3G in around five minutes. I love the Geniuses where I go. Willowbrook Mall in Houston, Texas, if anyone wants to know.

The LCD in my macbook went out Monday night. I made an appointment online and dropped it off with a genius at noon the next day. The genius told me it would be 3-5 days but 3 hours later they called and had replaced the LCD in the store for free. Very impressive that they have parts like a new LCD for a year old laptop on site and can swap them out that quickly.

So you've swapped your iPhone 4 times due to problems that weren't your fault, and you're happy about it?

No wonder Apple's customer satisfaction is so high if shipping faulty units and then exchanging them without question makes happy customers
