One feature I was interested in was if the iWork apps would be .PDF compatible, opening the door for using Pages as a .PDF or at the least reader in the absence of Preview.

Fortunately, it does seem that iWorks will be .PDF compatible although it remains to be seen if Pages can annotate .PDF's.

I noticed that the section on iwork says:

"You can easily share the documents you create in Pages in a few ways. Attach them to an email as Pages files for Mac, Microsoft Word files, or PDF documents. Or upload them to iWork.com public beta. And if someone emails you a Pages or Word document, you can easily import it into Pages for iPad — ready to review or edit."

No mention of any type of file sharing with your computer or printing your documents. Also, what's this iWork.com public beta? I thought you could use mobileme but they seem to want you to upload them to iwork.com??

Funny, I was just reading and thinking the same thing. I want my work 'on the go' via the iPad to sync to my primary computer (wirelessly would be best, but at least when I dock) so I can continue working on documents / spreadsheets / presentations on my MBP, then can grab the iPad and go, and continue working ont he updated document again on the go.

Doesn't seem to work that way at the moment. Maybe because of the way they handle the file system in iPhone OS?

Sighs. I guess we'll have to wait till April 3rd to figure out if there's USB disk support.

I'm fairly confident there will NOT be built in USB disk support - Apple has shied away from that on iPhone, so I tend to think they will do the same here.

iTunes will be the sync conduit, so I'm hoping there is a way to configure certain document content to sync via iTunes - though again, wireless, automatic syncing of docs would ROCK.

Another little snippet of information that I noticed; the video page specifically claims a battery life of up to 10 hours playing videos. I think the keynote mentioned this but it's nice to see it repeated. Being able to play videos for that long is definitely promising for the overall battery life of the device.
