Has anybody tried the example applications from Running macOS in a Virtual Machine on Apple Silicon Macs? If it works, how good or bad is it compared to UTM, Parallels or VMware?
I’ve played around with making an app but I don’t think the MacOS virtualization currently is very useful. The problem is that you can’t use your Apple ID to log into iCloud and worse for developers, you can’t log into your developer account. I’m not sure what uses Apple is targeting here but it currently isn’t useful for me.

Did you submit a bug report to Apple?

Months ago. I’m thinking of using one of using one of my developer tech support requests to see if I can get it working.

Yeah, Apple should really get their act together in regards to these things. It's not a FOSS project run by volunteers. This inability to communicate is actively harming their credibility.

Whoever moved this to the Windows and Linux forum: This is about running macOS on a Mac, albeit virtualized, and has nothing to do with Linux or Windows or any other operating system that is not macOS.

I guess MacOS could fall into the category of “others”.

What about the Veertu Anka solution:

Has the same problem with not being able to log into your iCloud account. Everyone is using the same MacOS framework so they all have the same problem.
