Fix Mobileme webmail.

Im using Internet Explorer as it's a work laptop and performance is absolutely terrible!

I would hate to have to use webmail on a regular basis with Mobileme!

The problem is most likely IE: even IE8 is massively slower than the competition on complex/modern JavaScript heavy web apps. Can you install Firefox? It doesn't need admin to install...

I think it's a joke that I can't view the actual MobileMe site on my iPhone, and it's made by Apple.

Firefox as said above, or maybe try Chrome.

OP, it's really the browser you're using and not the site... well unless you're complaining about the transfer of large attachments, but that's a transfer speed cap issue.

I think the only thing that you can't do with an iPhone and a MobileMe account is edit galleries, modify/upload web pages or make changes to your account settings...

Mail and file transfers are covered, you can even share photos to MobileMe, so are you missing out that much on moible HTML edits or remote changes to your account settings?

I'll add my own separate Dear Apple MobileMe Team request (sorry to hijack your thread) :)

If I'm sending out an "invite" for people to view my photo galleries, it would be really great to be able to use my contacts list to pick who i want to send it to! Why do I have to type in all of the email address individually?

I get around this by just sending the invite to myself and then forwarding it on from there using the mail program, but it seems like such a basic thing to me - I'm within the MobileMe website. seems like I should be able to use the contact list that is also stored within MobileMe

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3G: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

It is not IE. I have all browers installed and use safari the most and it is very slow.

In my experience, it's IE and the site itself. FF does a lot better, but it's still not nearly as fast as gmail.

I find it generally to be quite slow on any web browser, More slower on Internet Explorer, I use Safari at home, But normally dont use the web client when home.

Dont get me wrong I love the concept of Mobileme and will renew my subscription. I just wish they would improve the performance to work with all well known web browsers. I understand that they want to be promoting Apple software instead of Microsoft, But in the UK generally most people use Windows machines due to price etc.
