I'm on a mid 2010 Macbook Pro but it's a beast with a Mercury Extreme SSD, shouldn't be laggy right? Could it be that I only have 15 gigabytes free space? I also have 8 gigs of ram.

It was laggy for me last night in Chrome and FF on my Linux box and Safari on the hack, today everything seems normal.

My MBP has a Samsung 840 EVO, and 16GB of RAM.

The amount of free space shouldn't have any affect on the page performance. What GPU does your Mac have?

Maybe try a restart to clear out all your RAM and VRAM.

I have Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256 mb.

I will try a restart to see if that has any effect. For additional information my Macbook Pro has crash problems like one reads about a lot on the internet, however I've not done anything about it yet seeing as it's out of warranty. I'm guessing this problem is unrelated with Safari but just threw that in there.

No lag for me but I'm on Mountain Lion, Safari 6.2.6. Mac Pro 8 Core, 20GB, Samsung 840, NVIDIA 8800GT 512MB 4481x1600.

I just noticed that this site is buttery smooth on Chrome on the same computer, so there must be something wrong with Safari. Any tips?

When I open this site it lags awfully and I was wondering if I need to do something with my safari, or if it's like this for everyone.

Thanks :)
That has got to be one of the most GPU-intensive pages I've ever seen. Everything from videos to moving sprites to CSS blur effects. I'd hate to see what that page would do to one of my older Macs.

Yes, I see some lag. It also kicked on my M295X Retina iMac's fan just scrolling through.

Running 10.10.3 with lots of resources it's somewhat laggy and inconsistent in Safari.

Interestingly it runs fast and smooth on my primary choice of Chrome Version 43.0.2357.130

Thanks Google!

No lag whatsoever.

However out of curiosity I checked temps. If I scrolls up and down for what seemed to be 15 minutes in the Apple Music section I can get the CPU to rise 18c and the GPU to rise 15c from current idle temps. Still no where near close enough to get the fan to speed up but still quite the rise in temp none the less.
