I know that by now I should remember this answer as I have been on the Upgrade Program since they launched it lol, But is it the day after the official iPhone Announcement that we get the email that allows us to pre select our phone to make our checkout even quicker on Pre Order morning? Also, since the Pro Max launched in November and this years is back to the normal windows, do you think we will have to pay a early upgrade fee or will Apple just wipe that out since we are launch day orders?

If I remember correctly, you'll get an email a day or two before pre-order to "pre-qualify" again for the IUP. You get to choose what phone you are interested in and you'll go back in when pre-order begins to complete tour order.

You are eligible to upgrade when you have made 12 payments. Basically if you want to upgrade before the 12th payment has been made; you have to pay the payment/s when you upgrade.

I just wonder if Apple will hold us to the 12 payments for those who pre ordered since the phones were released off cycle and in November verse the usual September, and now this year back on track with September. That might hurt their initial sales if everyone has to pay 2 extra months in advance for a phone that was pushed back by 2 months last year ya know?

It's happened before, where two launches weren't 12 payments apart, and we had to pay the extra payment at the time of the upgrade. I expect the same for this year.

Yes, They will hold you to the 12 payments. Same thing happened when moving from X to 11
