I'm surprised there aren't leaks of Apple's wrist device yet.. anyone caught hints of it out there?

It'll likely be the iPod nano, redesigned.

So Samsung has a year to grow, eh? Hoping to see something sooner..

Have you seen their device? They won't grow much , lol
Agree, and Tim doesn't seem to think that a watch is the right way to go according to his interview at D11 (german blogpost I read that). But he likes the fuel band and I think they will bring some kind of wearable that doesn't exist yet.

Yeah. The fact you have to have a Samsung phone to use it will really throw people off.
Also, at launch, I believe it will only connect to the Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 10.1. Have an S4? That's tough luck.
I don't think it will ever take off.
We'll just wait for the experts (Apple, of course) to create a technology enabled watch.

I don't know if I will use Apple's product. I have not worn a watch in decades. They would have to make an exceptional product to make me want to wear one again.

I don't think these watches have a big future... I would say there is a high chance Apple won't release them at all..

The watch will be exactly the same as every other Apple/Samsung battle.
- Rumors of apple doing something.
- Samsung beats Apple to market by releasing something unfinished.
- Apple takes their time and does it properly.
- Samsung finally releases a finished product, after Apple has dominated the market.
I bet every $ I own that this happens with the watches.
Well he did say the wrist is "interesting and natural". I don't recall him saying that he didn't like the idea of a watch.
He said that younger people today mostly don't wear watches any more since the phone is their watch. With accessoires like watches and glasses, people want to express their personal style, so it would need some exeptional strong argument to make them wear such a piece of technology. He said that in the context of Apple aiming to "enrich" people's lives instead of doing things just because they are technologically possible.
