Hi all,

I have only been toying with AS for a day and am very excited about the possibilities. But I don't have a good idea of what functions are available to me. I'm sure I'll figure it out, just need time.

In the near term, however, I have the following problem. I have a bunch of quicktime .mov files with audio and video. I want to write a script that does the equivalent of manually opening the movie, going to "Show Movie Properties", selecting the sound track, hitting extract and then saving the resulting file.

I thought I could do this with Automator but all I could get it to do was disable the video and save the results. That's to disk intensive, since I don't want the video preserved at all.

Thanks in advance.
