I'm new to applescript, and am only using ones that I've downloaded. Actually, "using" is what I'm not able to do. They are all installed, but when I drag files over the doplets, nothing happens. Like if the droplet didn't even recognize that something was over them. I know I'm draggin appropriate files and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there a setting I have to activate or a program I have to install to make them work properly?

maybe a link to a tutorial would help me. I feel retarded for not being able to get these to work. the one I really want to use is movie2itunes . Sounds great, which makes it that much more frustrating.

thanks

are you sure you are dragging it onto a droplet? If the icon of the script doesn't look like the one below ..you can't drag items onto it

Once I click on the icon you are refferring to, a window opens telling me what it does. Such as : this droplet will convert files into...." and 2 clickable "cancel" and "ok" buttons. That's what I am currently trying to drag files onto. If I understand what you are saying, I should drag them directly onto the icon? In finder? In the dock? ....

excuse my ignorance, and thanks for replying

I am such an idiot. sorry for the inconvenience.....and don't mention this to anyone......

it works
