I need to export all of my Address Book contacts as individual vCards, and I cannot seem to find an easy way to do this! Are there any AppleScripts that can help?

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. Automator doesnt' have any vCard functions, and Apples website has nothing to do with vCards. I also exported of a bunch of contacts, then open the file they are all enclosed in, but it doesn't open.

Is there a reason you need them all as individual vCards? Because the vCard format is capable of containing multiple "cards" and it's quite easy to have Address Book export your entire "book" as one big vCard file. And other programs should be able to pull them apart upon import.

Actually, what would be IDEAL is if Entourage could do it...but to answer your question, I purchased a PC as an accessory for my PowerBook, and I want to keep my Outlook contacts reasonably in sync with Entourage. So I used the sync Entourage-Address Book script; now I just need to figure out how to get them into Outlook.

I tried exporting contacts to one vCard - Outlook doesn't support importing multiple contacts from a single vCard.

Try this program to export the addresses from the Apple address book to a csv file. I believe Outlook can then import this type of file directly. I haven't tried it for this purpose, but for importing into my Webmail accounts (i.e. yahoo, gmail, hotmail), it works perfectly.
