AppleScript to make up for lack of Push?

So since there is no Push for changes made from iCal and AddressBook, can you guy think of an AppleScript that would perform a sync every minute instead of 15 min?

Of course, that'd be a temporary solution but this might do the trick in the meantime...

I was thinking about something similar. More along the lines of, if you have iCal or Address Book open, as soon as you close it, it syncs with MobileMe. I think syncing every minute would be a bit excessive, and a waste of bandwidth and computing resources. I'm not really well versed in applescript, or at all really, so hopefully someone with more experience can tell us if it can be done.

No applescript necessary, just a simple edit of a .plist file. However, I'd still like to see an applescript to sync MobileMe every time either iCal or Address Book closes.
