Hi, to get the ATV connected I need the MAC address. Its not printed on the box or on the hardware itself. Neither is shown in the 'about' menu. Any idea how to get it?
Second question: While starting the setup with WLAN, is there a chance to see all available networks like on a macbook? Entering my network name doesn't work. Signal strength is good, placing my Macbook next to the TV shows full strength.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Best, Chris

You are just gonna have to connect it to wired network and then under general its in about.

It is shown in the About menu, I was able to find it easily, look again.

not at all

maybe I'm too stupid. in the about menu wifi network and wifi adress is n.v, nothing in there. No title for the MAC address.
If I select the Wifi setup, there is none shown/listed. Some open and none secure networks around. Should the ATV show them directly? I only got the selection to enter a networks name, which doesn't succeed after entered.
Sounds so easy but I didn't get it work.
Btw, the Wifi status bar in the menu is blank, means no signal shown.
Any ideas what i'm doing wrong? Thanks for your help

I guess its DOA because i dont see any wlan around. Via cable eveething is fine.
